Southern Ohio Filmmakers Association invites you to bring your inner movie star to Movieoke!

It's like karaoke, but with movies. You choose the movie, you act out the scene! You just might win a T-shirt! And the admiration of all your friends!

Here's how it works:

Pick your scene -- at least one minute long, no more than four minutes -- write down the times when it begins and ends. Bring the original DVD* with you, hand it over to our tech wizards and get your butt up on stage. You and the audience will see the film with the sound off and captions on. You = Acting!

The individual or team anointed best of the best will win fabulous SOFA swag!

GUEST MC: The hilarious Linda Gambino (2006 winner of "Funniest Person in Cincinnati" at The Funny Bone Comedy Club) will rule the stage. (lindagambino.com)
